Members for PR Team EWB KTH - Podcast Host

Are you interested in Engineers Without Borders and want to engage in marketing and promoting the organisation as well as interacting with interesting people? We are now looking for 2 Podcast Hosts at Engineers Without Borders in KTH. 

As one of 2 Podcast Hosts, you will be in charge of handling and starting up Engineers Without Borders KTH’s podcast, aiming to depict how engineering and humanitarian work are connected to each other .Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Producing graphic material such as leaflets and posters to market the podcast and its events together with graphic designers in your team.
  • Interview individuals to obtain relevant information by asking questions from a prepared outline and record responses from participants
  • Planning and organizing of questions to ask guests
  • Contact individuals to be interviewed at field location by video call or in person to schedule interview time and date
  • Editing and posting the recorded interviews 

Knowledge of software editing is an advantage but not a requirement.

The position does not require any prior knowledge, but it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Passion for areas that Engineers Without Borders engages with;
  • Good people skills and ability to work closely with others.
  • Previous PR experience in an organisation;
  • Good English skills and is comfortable conducting interviews in English

Further, we prefer that the podcast host is or has previously been enrolled in engineering education. Apply by the 28th of February!

As with all volunteer positions within Engineers Without Borders KTH, this position is unpaid.
