Ingenjörer utan gränser är en ideell, politisk och religiöst oberoende organisation som med hjälp av ingenjörskonst, entreprenörskap, vetenskap, projekt och samarbete strävar efter att tillsammans göra världen bättre. Ingenjörer utan gränser Sverige är en del av det internationella nätverket Engineers Without Borders International. Lokalt på Chalmers drivs verksamheten Ingenjörer utan gränser av ledningsgruppen som består utav engagerade studenter.

Arbetsbeskrivning

I din roll som projektsamordnare för internationella projekt är du länken mellan Göteborgs lokala projektgrupp och den nationella samordningsgruppen för internationella projekt. Du ansvarar för att starta upp nya projekt genom att utvärdera projektförslag och idéer i samråd med ledningsgruppen och nationella gruppen. 

Gällande de internationella projekten är din uppgift att följa, stödja och rapportera om projektens framsteg och underlätta kommunikationen mellan styrelse och projektledaren. Du är en del av arbetet att fortsatta vidareutveckla projektprocessen och framförallt förväntas du som projektkoordinator att hjälpa projektgrupperna att uppnå sina mål. 
 
Du är en del av ledningsgruppen på Chalmers vilket innebär att att du förväntas bistå Ingenjörer utan gränser på Chalmers med övriga evenemang där organisationen representeras, detta kan ske i form av exempelvis deltagande på arbetsmarknadsmässor eller workshops.

Notera att allt arbete är mycket flexibelt och helt ideellt!   

Kvalifikationer 

Vi söker dig som är självgående, har god samarbetsförmåga och kommer att ansvara för att projekten går framåt. Vidare ser vi gärna att du har ett stort intresse för utvecklingsfrågor och ledarskap. Det kommer att ske en överlämningsperiod fram till sommaren där du får all info och hjälp du behöver av din företrädare, därefter ser vi gärna att du kan stanna på posten cirka ett år. Tidigare engagemang hos Ingenjörer utan gränser är mycket meriterande men inget krav.

About us

Engineers Without Borders is an nonprofit, politically and religiously independent organization that, through the use of engineering, science, entrepreneurship, project and cooperation strives to make the world better. Engineers Without Borders Sweden is part of the International Network Engineers Without Borders International. Locally at Chalmers, the organization Engineers Without Borders is operated by the board, which consists of committed students.

Responsibilites

In your role as Project Coordinator for international projects, you are the link between Gothenburg's local project group and the national coordination group for international projects. You are responsible for starting up new projects by evaluating project proposals and ideas in consultation with the board as well as the national group.

Regarding the international projects your task is to accompany, support and report on the progress of the projects and facilitate communication between the board and the project manager.
You are part of the work to developing the project process and expected to help the project groups achieve their goals

You are a part of the board at Chalmers, this means that you are expected to assist Engineers Without Borders at Chalmers with
other events where the organization is represented, like for example participation in market fairs or workshops.

Note that all work is very flexible and completely non-profit!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are driven, have good cooperative skills and will be responsible for ensuring progress in the projects. Furthermore, we would like you to have a strong interest in development issues and leadership. There will be a handover period until the summer where you will get all the info and help you need from your predecessor, then we would like you to stay at the post about one year. Previous engagement with Engineers Without Borders is very meritorious but no requirement.
