Är du intresserad av Ingenjörer utan gränser och vill ägna dig åt något meningsfullt? Då ska du söka rollen som Vice Gruppledare för ingenjörer Utan Gränser i Uppsala.
Huvudsyftet med rollen är att tillsammans med gruppledaren leda och utveckla Ingenjörer utan gränser Uppsala. Tillsammans ser vi till att EWB Uppsala gör sitt jobb, både externt och internt. Gränsen för var gruppledarens arbete slutar och vicegruppledarens börjar är svår att definiera, det beror på hur man vill samarbeta med varandra. Vice gruppledare ansvarar även för HR-relaterade frågor. Mer konkret är ansvaret:
- Att föra mötesanteckningar för gruppmöten och hålla möten om gruppledaren är frånvarande.
- Ledning av teamspecifika projekt, till exempel enskilda möten.
- Ansvarig för EWB Uppsalas två rekryteringar. Under hösten för volontärer och under våren för ledningsgruppen. Det innefattar allt från att planera hur vi ska främja och även samordna alla under rekryteringen. Detta arbete sker i samarbete med stora delar av ledningsgruppen men kanske främst med gruppledaren.
- Ansvar för ledning av kick-off och teambuilding aktiviteter
Det kommer också att hållas månadsmöten där du och din gruppledare får möjlighet att träffa alla andra gruppledare och diskutera punkter/frågor ni kan behöva hjälp med. Under månadsmötena får du också möjlighet att få nya idéer från de andra lokala gruppernas aktiviteter.
Utöver de angivna ansvarsområdena är rollen som vicegruppledare en mycket flexibel roll. Har du idéer på saker du vill göra finns möjligheten!

Vad förväntar vi oss av dig?
Tjänsten som vice gruppledare kräver inga förkunskaper, men det skulle vara meriterande om du har/är:
– Student vid Uppsala universitet
- Förmåga att arbeta nära andra med god samarbetsförmåga.
– Ett starkt driv och ett strukturerat arbetssätt.
- Innovativa lösningar och ett kreativt tänk.
- Ett ansvar för att säkerställa framsteg i projekten eller uppgifterna.
Tid på volontärarbete?
Arbetet är helt frivilligt och mängden arbete kommer att variera beroende på ditt engagemang. Normalt är dock 2-4 timmar per vecka att räkna med.

Are you interested in Engineers Without Borders and want to engage in something meaningful? Then you should apply for the position of Vice-Group Leader for Engineers Without Borders in Uppsala.
The main purpose of the role is to, together with the group leader, manage and develop Engineers without borders Uppsala. Together we ensure that EWB Uppsala does its part work, both external and internal. The boundary of where the Group Leader's work ends and the Vice-Group leader’s begins is difficult to define, it depends on how you want to collaborate with each other. The vice group leader is also responsible for HR-related questions. More concretely, the responsibilities are:
- Keeping meeting notes for group meetings and holding meetings if the group leader is absent.
- Management of team-specific projects, for example individual meetings.
- Responsible for EWB Uppsala's two recruitments. During the fall for volunteers and during the spring for the management team. It includes everything from planning how we will promote and also coordinating everyone during recruitment. This work is done in collaboration with large parts of the management group but perhaps mainly with the group leader.
- Responsibility for managing the kick-offs and team building activities
There will also be monthly meetings where you and your Group Leader will have the opportunity to meet all of the other Group Leaders and discuss points/issues you may need help with. During the monthly meetings you will also have the opportunity to get new ideas from the other local groups’ activities.
In addition to the listed responsibilities, the role as Vice-Group Leader is a very flexible role. If you have ideas of things you want to do, the opportunity is there!

What do we expect from you?
The position as Vice-Group Leader does not require any prior knowledge, but it would be beneficial if
you have/are:
- A student at Uppsala university
- Ability to work closely with others with a good cooperative skill.
- A strong drive and a structured way of working.
- Innovative solutions and a creative mindset.
- A responsibility to ensure progress in the projects or tasks.
Time of engagement?
The work is entirely voluntary, and the amount of work will vary depending on your level of commitment. However, typically 2-4 hours per week is to be expected.
