Engineer to Engineer Group - EWB KTH

Are you interested in Engineers Without Borders and want to engage in something meaningful and improve your  network?  Then you should apply for this position in Engineer to Engineer Group for Engineers Without Borders in KTH.

Engineer to Engineer (E2E) is an integration program run by Engineers without Borders to help recently arrived and asylum-seeking engineers to become integrated in the Swedish job market. 

E2E-programs are ongoing in other local chapters of Engineers without Borders Sweden. The Stockholm Chapter is hoping to expand the program to also include Stockholm. This will be a collaboration with EWB KTH and EWB Stockholm group. We are therefore searching for someone to be in charge for making this possible. 

We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, self-reliant and passionate about making a real difference. This is a new position at KTH, it is not yet entirely defined. This makes it a challenging role, but also, one that requires creativity and allows for some flexibility as you are able to influence how the program is run to best fulfill its objectives. To help you out, you will have the support of other members and including and the guidance of other local Chapters in Sweden.

Your responsibilities in this role will include and is not limited to:

  • Work with the Stockholm group i setting up E2E division for Stockholm;
  • Represent the Chapter at monthly national E2E meetings (can be done remotely);
  • Attend weekly management meetings at KTH;

The engagement will give you the opportunity to meet new people and develop within the group. There are great opportunities to influence our work and to choose how you want to work within the project. 

The amount of work will vary depending on your level of commitment. However, typically 2-4 hours per week can be expected.
