Engineers Without Borders is a nonprofit, politically and religiously independent organization which  with engineering and science, entrepreneurship and project expertise try to contribute to a better  world. This is an unpaid position, but hopefully, you will earn valuable experience!

We are currently searching for two project leaders for an upcoming project in Nairobi, Kenya. The  purpose of the project is to construct a new building for a school and a facility for the Asulma  centre. Asulma centre is a partner to EWB Sweden that runs an integrated solar cooking, ISC business. They are currently renting a facility from a school in Nairobi, which is not optimal for their  purpose, neither for the school. Thus, together with EWB Sweden, we will help both the school and  Asulma centre to construct a new building.  

We are looking for two project leader who are: 

• Student, PhD student or professional in engineering  

• Your main area is construction, civil engineering, project management or similar.  

• Able to stay in the project until the project is finished with a relatively long time horizon.  

• Speaks and writes fluently in English.  

• Ambitious and interested in tying new contacts.  

As the project leader, you will work with other professionals and members in EWB Sweden to build  the project. Your role will be to lead the project forward.
