Sustainable Food Production and Processing Member

Join the Sustainable Food Production and Processing team and be part of developing sustainable food production.

Are you interested in

  • How the sun can be used for cooking
  • Agriculture
  • Economy and business models

Are you also skilled at energy technology?

If the answer is yes to at least one of the above questions and you can spend some time on that, you are welcome to volunteer in our competence group Sustainable Food Production and Processing. Solar cooking covers a lot of subjects so your strong interest is the major force we are looking for. Of course some skill regarding specifically energy technology is very welcome, but many other disciplines are involved.

The Food group works primarily with solar cooking diffusion. We are gathering information from similar projects around the world and trying to keep ourselves updated on latest progress. We are also conducting projects on this matter and function as internal consultants regarding the same kind of projects.

All projects are depending on economy and the adoption of solar cooking is amongst others also a financial issue. That’s why we also welcome persons interested in economy.

Sustainable food production and processing can be so much more than what we can cover today, like agricultural matters, solar drying etc.

Of course your are interested in global sustainability and environmental issues.

Please note that the position is on a volunteer basis.

  • Be part of inspiring children

Sweden currently has a shortage of engineers, a profession that historically has been a very homogenous group. This is accomplished by assisting students with their studies, acting as role-models, and showing a non-conventional perspective on science, technology and engineering.
