Hello! My name is Stephanie Rawi and I am the Head of Events at EWB KTH. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and I am studying  Renewable Energy in KTH for a year. I love volunteering work as I enjoy meeting new people too! In my spare time, I swim, meditate and do calligraphy as I found it relaxing. Closest friends of mine say that I am happy-go-lucky girl, and I hope that with my strength I could bring more impact to the community.

Why did I choose to get involved with EWB?
As I have worked before, I clearly know that I want to contribute for people in my surrounding and EWB is one of the organisations where I can meet fellow like-minded future engineers to develop ideas and facilitate them to find the solutions for sustainability. EWB has a lot of programs for different customer segments and I believe it is very easy to be involved as student. Moreover, I am completely into EWB values and EWB KTH has a very creative and supportive working environment.

What does Events do?
Me with my two awesome team members are in charge of initiating and conducting an internal or external event for local students with relevant topic to EWB concerns. Together with other divisions like finance, TRE and inspire youth, we are handling engagement with companies and schools. During these event we also do some fundraising targeting to people who want to contribute for a more sustainable future.
