My name is Alexandra Josefsson and I am Head of Inspire Youth of EWB KTH. I am a Master’s student student studying Embedded Systems. I did my bachelor in Scotland and was involved with engineers without borders there, so of course I wanted to get involved here as well!
Why did you choose to get involved with EWB?
I want to use my engineering knowledge and skills to contribute to development and a more sustainable society. I first heard of the organization in 2013 and I have been a fan ever since. I think my personal values align with the organization’s. It is great to get insights to how you as an engineer can contribute positively to our society.
What does team Inspire do?
Team inspire focuses on inspiring youth to pursue science and engineering. This can be done through the means of study assistance, workshops, and acting as role models for what engineers can look and be like. Currently, we are hosting programming workshops for children in Rinkeby.
