My name is Aravind S Kumar and I handle the position of HR with EWB KTH. You can call me SK or AsK. I am doing my postgraduate studies in Electric Power Engineering. As a first impression, I might come of as a geek if you do not know me well. But all my friends say that I am a freak. In my free time I follow football and keep myself updated with the happenings of the world. I am also associated with the KTH Hyperloop team where we are building a pod to compete in the SpaceX competition. I like to keep myself engaged in multiple activities all the time.
Why did you choose to get involved with EWB?
As an engineer, I feel that it is my responsibility to give something back to the society. I feel happiness if I know that I somehow am able to create a positive impact on someone's life and with the projects that EWB are doing, I will definitely be able to do so. Innovations for a greener and smarter tomorrow is my career motto.
What does team HR do?
The main responsibility of team HR is to meet the human resource needs of EWB KTH, including finding suitable candidates/volunteers for the teams/projects, making sure that every member’s voice is heard and that their inputs are taken into consideration, and also keeping track of members and keeping them updated.
We are currently three in the HR team and we have fun meeting new people.
