We are looking for various roles within the Engineers Without Borders Sweden IT team.
The team supports IT-related needs from the local groups, national board and project teams. The team also provides value to the organization through sustainable IT services that are cost-efficient, simple and reliable as a way of promoting transparency, availability, innovation, fair data and useability. As a team member your contribution and innovative mindset will be highly valued.
Tasks within the IT team
- Maintenance of IT landscape
- Analyzing digital innovations
- Technical project support
- Design, build & deliver IT services
- Setting up an IT strategy
- Responsible for the IT budget
IT Manager
As an IT Manager, you lead the team and have the strategic accountability for planning, developing, and running IT. The IT Manager is responsible for creating a roadmap based on the IT strategy and setting the budget.

IT Coordinator
The IT Coordinator will support, design, build, manage and improve IT service processes and quality. As a team, you will work together to create value and simplify and streamline IT within the organisation.

- “Just do it”-attitude
Time of engagement?
The work is entirely voluntary, and the amount of work will vary depending on your level of commitment. However, typically 1-6 hours per week is to be expected.
*As with all volunteer positions in EWB-SWE, this position is unpaid.
