Npili School, Guinea-Bissau
Engineers Without Borders at KTH is teaming up with Npili School in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. The school’s mission is to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged girls and their mothers. We hope to expand its reach and ensure that more girls get the right to education.
We are looking for volunteer engineering students from KTH, especially students with knowledge or interest in geotechnics, hydrology, and/or construction, as these areas will play a key role in the feasibility study. However, there is no need for specific experience within the field, as long as there is a drive and ambition to contribute to the project!
The project will be carried out remotely from KTH.
Stay tuned for more project positions coming up!

The Reflective Engineer
Our Events Team
Engineers shape the future - but with great technical power comes great responsibility! The Reflective Engineer group organizes thought-provoking events on sustainability and the role and responsibility of engineers in science and society. From lunch lectures to info nights and podium discussions, we create spaces where students and experts can reflect, debate, and inspire one another. Now, we’re looking for new team members to help us plan and run these events!
We are looking for:
- Organizers: People who enjoy bringing structure to chaos - booking rooms & catering, making schedules, and ensuring no detail slips through.
- Connectors: People who love reaching out to professors, researchers, and professionals to invite speakers and kick-off collaborations.
- Curators: People who have a knack for spotting relevant topics and shaping event themes that spark meaningful discussions. Moderators: People who are comfortable guiding conversations, asking critical questions, and making sure every voice is heard.
No experience needed - just an interest in sustainability and curiosity about the role of engineers in society. If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you on board!
