Kenan Güler
Vice Group Leader - KTH – Internal OrganizationMy name is Edwin Kwang, and I am the Vice Group Leader in EWB KTH.
I studied my bachelor degree at the University of Hong Kong, and I pursue my Master degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering in KTH. I am also involved in IAESTE Stockholm and Green Week 2020.
Why did you choose to get involved with EWB?
In Hong Kong, I worked in a volunteering organisation called Project Mingde. We designed and built essential infrastructures such as bridges, schools and toilets in underprivileged provinces in Mainland China and Vietnam. In the future development of the world, sustainable growth and innovation is the key of success. I understand that EWB could offer me opportunities to use my professional knowledge to contribute to the and those in need. Last year, I enjoyed thoroughly in the project incubation team and therefore decided to join the management team this year.
In the KTH chapter, we have several international development projects currently planning. They are in Nepal, Kenya, Suriname, and Mozambique and they cover areas such as energy, WASH, and construction.
