Ledningsgrupp LiU 24/25

A large part of the work involves taking care of the association's finances. However, it is important to know that it is not you as the Vice Group Leader who handles the bookkeeping, but it is done through the national organization. Your job is to collect receipts from members and send them to the national organization, as well as budget for the year.

As the project manager, you will take on a completely new project, which allows for ample space for ideas. You will have the opportunity to start a project that you find interesting and, together with your project team, work towards the goals you set. This year, the overseas project has been a Feasibility Study in Ghana, and the role of the project manager has primarily involved overseeing and coordinating the group and driving the project forward. As a manager, you have a significant opportunity to influence the setup of the work; this year, we have had a weekly lunch meeting with the project group, a weekly lunch meeting with the coordinator, and workshops with the project group as needed. For this role, we are primarily looking for someone with a great drive and ideas who is eager to start a new project!

What you choose to focus on during your operational year is up to you and your committee.
EWB strives to reduce the gaps in society, and through the Inspire Youth committee, you have a chance to reach out to young people and make a difference in Linköping. The Inspire Youth committee is perfect for those who want to collaborate with the municipality or activities that target children. We are looking for someone who has an interest in children and who has ideas on how the association can contribute to more young people continuing to study.
Business relations manager
The Business Committee is EWB LiU's contact with companies and source of income. Your job is to create contacts between EWB and companies through, for example, lunch lectures or sponsorship opportunities. You also work to increase students' awareness of sustainability issues - environmental, technical as well as social.
As the leader of the Business Committee, you have the opportunity to, together with your committee, get in touch with exciting companies and develop new ideas and events in order to reach out to the students at LiU. Most of the events are spread throughout the year, except for the traditional event "sustainable week", which is held in early February and is a collaboration with EWB local groups at other universities. In previous years, a Christmas auction has also been included in the sponsorship part of the association's work.
If you have ideas for new projects or other financing plans for the association, there are great opportunities to implement them. You can also collaborate with other associations at LiU.
Do you have a commitment to sustainability and business contact? Do you want to be the face of the association to companies? Then apply to be leader for the Business Committee.

As a committee leader, your task is to allocate work in your committee. You will work together on how EWB LiU should reach out on its platforms and physically among the students. It is a creative committee where you are welcome to have an eye for detail.
This mission requires that you can plan, are well-structured, and have a creative side.
