Part of that work is to have personal development meetings with the project leaders once per semester. In your work, you work closely with the entire management group, but collaborate most closely with the deputy group leader, together it is the two of you who lead the work.
Another big part of your work is to have contact with the national level. You and the vice group leader attend monthly meetings with the group leaders from the other student groups in Sweden.

There will also be monthly meetings where you and your deputy group leader will have the opportunity to meet all other group leaders and deputy group leaders and discuss points/questions you may need help with. During the monthly meetings, you will also have the opportunity to get new ideas from the other local groups' activities.
As a group leader, you will have some tasks that you need to complete, but for the most part, the role is very free. You will have the opportunity to shape the role as you wish and according to your leadership style and values as a leader. The role will provide a huge opportunity to explore the type of leader you want to be, but you will also gain a lot of leadership experience and help your group and organization grow.
What can you expect from the role?

- Help others establish and implement activities

- Good cooperation skills
- Open-minded and responsive
Time for volunteer work?
How much time the commitment takes is up to you but will vary depending on your level of commitment and period. As mentioned above, you will have more to do in the beginning, but that will gradually change. In general, as a group leader, you can count on spending max. 2-4 hours per week.

Be part of inspiring children
Sweden currently has a shortage of engineers, a profession that historically has been a very homogenous group. Because of this, EWB-SWE inform and inspire children to seek an education in engineering or technology. This is accomplished by assisting students with their studies, acting as role-models, and showing a non-conventional perspective on science, technology and engineering. -

Develop your leadership and technology skills by participating in the seminars and activities we organize. -
